How far we've come..A look back at where it all started and how far it's come

So I haven't posted anything in a bit and I decided to take a look back through some old texture (snapshots) from in world and some old Photobucket albums  and I came across one of the very first looks I ever had in SL. and it got me thinking and looking back at images of me in SL over the years

And I was just blown back at seeing the images of My very first SL relationship and My very first look.  And even more taken at how much I have changed and how far fashion, and creator ability has come in the last 7 years that I have been around.
And the great things that have come with all these years of sticking it out and investing time effort and even hard earned real life dollars and Linden dollars.

Many a nights was spent laughing, dancing and emoting the night away keeping the vibe and joy of SL pumping through our hearts and speakers with friends and family earning those L and refining our looks to become the avatars we are today

With all the flooding memories and joy it brought to my heart to see these images Not to mention the amount of upgrades I noticed that have changed me and my Sister and RL  best friend Brooke Adzior into the SL women we have become & I just had to share the looks from then to now with everyone.

August ,2010

Completely basic system layer avatar with prim block hair and some crazy chunky spike prim bracelets.
I was at the time dancing at a Vamp club and yes I was even on a leash & collar.
. ohh the days..
but even still it was fun and we all thought we looked amazing and for the time & year we did.




Many people have changed their looks over the years and would wear every skin or shape they could that came out..  I watched so many friends and family go through so so many shapes and bodies even before there were mesh heads, hands, feet and full bodies to use..

And why not its Your Second Life do with it what you will have any and every look you want!


However when I started playing; I wanted my avatar to be a true extension of me and to have her nearest can be to the way I see myself in my RL as well.

So I have never been one to change my full look or skin color.. and so  I've done my best to keep true to my look over the years.

I joined SL at a great time as new skins and hairs and looks were starting to pop on on the marketplace and allowing you more freedom for priceing as you didn't have to pay as much in rental space for a store.. SO looks Quickly changed over a short amount of time.

I believe Brooke and myself happened to be wearing the same ship and skin that was shared with us from our at the time vamp family from club subduction.

Mind you this was SL viewer graphics,
and in a time before your avatar started out a mesh avatar, so the skin quality you see here was done very well for the time.




there where flexi hairs , but No mesh hair or clothes.
Our boobies didn't bounce yet, and every thing you wore had to be layered on..
Ohh the horror..
No really it was really brilliant for 2010.

6 months later March 2011 


Brooke and jans Last Days at club subduction and the Start of the Galaxy Years >>

Still doing the Vamp thing with bloodlines.

Things were starting to change though layers were getting cleaner, prim skirts and mesh were slowly starting to show their loverly little tricks in world.

Curls bounced, flowing lace for dresses and heels looked like real feet. not some chunky clog on a clubbed box that was your foot.
Anyone else remember when Yummy shoes thank the SL heavens for Yummy they where the only way to go ..
and slink wasn't a SL household name yet.




Here I've changed up skins & make up.. sadly I can't even tell you who it was because none of the stores or creators as to my knowledge are even find able or even buy able in world now a days.

I do Remember the skin was Rod Studio
and the outfit was a PhatKatz GG.
The hair might still be purchasable at analogdog





Jump another 4 months or so a head and well ..



Brooke was going through some changes and upgrades as well. The Galaxy life was becoming a good life kinda thing

I took some time off of playing in 2011; at least from the SL I had as January  and was no longer running around on her; but I had created and was on a nonstop near 24/7 SL run with my alt avatar Sayuri Isodo

These were the years of Truth prim hair, system make up .  a time of Prim Nails 10,20, 30 size count.
Prim/mesh feet inside new heels that looked the most life like that you could imagine at the time.

I was going through a lot in my Real life at the time, a divorce after 13 years and a huge move across the country. So Sayuri was my escape from everything And  thanks to me living my second life as Sayuri
There was an amazing friend and love that came into my life both SL & RL as part of the galaxy family and I never would have found it  without having my alt avatar.


2012

The Real Magic of creator outfits starts to make its way into our world and the girls looks go from good to How ya doin"

2013

The Galaxy Club and Mall was the place to be and not to mention
Delirium, Mesh head, Alterego, &
AEG MALL were just some of the spots to shop














2014
Again I took a bit more time off in 2014 and hardly played at all I think I honestly only played a handful of times maybe a dozen  max  that entire year, And by my return October things had changed immensely.
But Brooke played on and found all the joys of the new mesh that was changing the Avatar to what we have today and Boy was I lucky she did cuz she was here to welcome me back and guide me through all the Huds!!










Slink had released feet, shoes and even hands, Tango had appeared and breast where in everyone faces and we loved them,  and if you wanted booty you had your choice Banned, Ghetto Booty and Phatass,  TMP had the first mesh full body out.. and some of us went even bigger boned and curvaceous and had hip and ass for dayz thanks to Sking.


2015

Brooke was trying just about everything she could get her hands on, if it was mesh she had it!


True to form as always the best of everything fills Brooke's closet and she always looks breath taking be it a night at the club or looking stunning while ready to chew you out.

after rocking the bubble gum look we all tried with our tango tits and phatass's I missed the dark inner me
 and found my way back to my vamp ways. 



Even sayuri joined in the mesh body fun 




by 2016 I had found my way thanks to my sisters wonderful reviews and effort and invested hard earned Ls she showed me how wonderful the mesh had become and how great the details where and I won't lie I was jealous and I too had to have the full body , head to toe Mesh look. and I fucking LOVE IT!!

SO if you haven't yet had the joy of upgrading to a mesh Maitreya slink or bellezza body or you haven't got the mesh head or hands yet You might just enjoy looking back with us.

I'm not saying these looks are for everyone and They Def haven't come cheap but the detail has just become amazing over the years and it really is worth the investments.

so Thank you to catwa, maitreya, Slink and Vista for all working together over time and bringing us Mesh to Bento such amazingly beautiful creations and allowing us to have the looks we want in our avis.
